In just five days, more than five thousand people have made submissions to the Senate Inquiry and told them their views on Howard’s radical workplace changes. Thanks to your energy and dedication we far exceeded our initial targets. We started with the modest goal - and this was achieved within just three hours! A steady flow of submissions kept pouring in throughout the week, and the target was upped to 2000, then 3000. This was exceeded by almost one hundred per cent. Thanks to you, there will be a permanent record stating that thousands of Australians opposed the wholesale dismantling of our industrial relations system. Together we showed the Howard Government that we will fight for our rights at work. Our next goal is to send a huge message to the Government at the November 15 National Day of Community Protest. We need you, and all your friends, to be there. |
Congratulations!
